Our Salsa in Santa Susanna, Barcelona is a true favourite with old and new customers alike. After such a fantastic 2009 trip, we are advertising next years dates early due to the demand for this trip. 2010 will bring new and exciting additions to the itinerary including a specialist Cha Cha Cha course amongst other dance styles, new teachers and more surprises!
The Resort
Santa Susanna
Santa Susana, Barcelona, is the ideal location for our Salsa Holidays. With a Mediterranean climate and our beach front location, it makes the perfect holiday for those wanting to dance by the sea with plenty of excitement day and night while also giving you the opportunity to opt in and out of our itinerary as you please! Our forthcoming holiday takes place from 15th – 22nd May 2010. This holiday will give you the chance to mix with other Salsa enthusiasts of all ages and dance abilities giving your holiday a real ‘party’ atmosphere all through the day and into the night, and with our excellent line up of teachers and optional FREE extras in the afternoons, you can Salsa all day – or if you prefer, just laze on the beach and listen to the sound of Latin music whilst you re-energize for the evening activities! Away from our jam-packed Salsa itinerary there are many other activities on offer. You can take a stroll into the local towns of Santa Susana or Malgrat de Mar, where you will find plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and discos. Santa Susanna is a well developed beach resort with several kilometers of golden sand and a variety of water sports! Santa Susanna has undergone major re-modernisation in recent years to make it the chic, friendly resort it is today. A little further down the coast you will find the quaint fishing villages of Tossa de Mar and Blanes which are only a short bus ride away. Other interesting sights include Barcelona City – be sure to catch a tour bus to make the most of your visit here!
Accomodation
You have a choice of three hotels to choose from which are three and four star and all situated by the beach. They offer a range of activities and services including outdoor swimming pools, games rooms, beach bars which serve snacks and a main buffet restaurant offering hot and cold food. (Our four star option also includes an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna!) Accommodation facilities include en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, telephone, satellite TV and a balcony or terrace. Safety deposit boxes can be hired for a small extra charge. (Fridge is included in our four star option)
Classes
Our Workshop schedule will be split into five levels from Intensive Beginner to Very Advanced. Lessons will be taught in the following styles: On1, Cuban, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata, Styling, Reggaton, Jazz, Samba and more to be added for 2010!
Extra & Specialist Workshops
Please see 'Details of Classes' for dance types. We will also be running a special Cha Cha Cha, Lambada course throughout the week.
What is Included in the Price

Flights
Fights are not included. From previous experience we have learned that it is more convenient for you to purchase your own flight, this gives you the option of flying from your chosen airport. Please note: We have coach transfers to and from Barcelona Airport at selected times. Saturday 15th May, Pick-up from airport at: 14:00 & 21:30. Saturday 22nd May, departure from hotel at: 09:00 & 18:00. For a full list of cheap flights and airports please visit our website.
Other Costs
Your accommodation is based on half-board (all you can eat buffet breakfast and dinner); therefore lunch is not included in the price of your holiday. Just about everything else we can think of is included!
Temperature
Santa Susana is blessed with a Mediterranean climate therefore the average temperature will range from 25-30 degrees during the day and cooler in the evenings.
Booking
In order to reserve your place you must check availability before you book your flight. You then need to send us a £70.00 deposit per person* made payable to Eagle Activity Tours Ltd along with your booking form in order to reserve your place. You will receive confirmation by return post. *Full payment must be received before Friday 2nd April 2009. *Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
